The
Fairlands Police Station has established a system where we can keep you
informed of news and current events within the Fairlands jurisdiction,
via email and the website.
We have included cell phone numbers as we will be setting up an SMS alert
system as well. Your information remains confidential and you may unsubscribe
at any time.
It
is free and your information remains confidential and used only for the
reasons mentioned below.
The
value of the internet is a fast and effective communication medium using
email. One of our major difficulties in the past has been to find a way
to communicate to the residents of the Fairlands area quickly
and easily. By registering with us below we want to create a network that
supports the community and we will be able to send you regular emails
about news and events. This will help us eliminate crime in the area.
Imagine
if a child had to go missing and we send an email, within minutes, to
the 6,500 homes in the Fairlands area, what a life saving effect this
could be.
Imagine
that the police find that there is a person operating in the area pretending
to be a "pool cleaner" but is in actual fact a criminal. We
send out an email within minutes with a description that he is wearing
"blue overals with a yellow cap", you will be getting this information
into your home or office and you can inform your family and staff to watch
out for this person and avoid an unpleasant incident. Shutting the door
on crime before it happens.
(In
the near future we will extend this to "SMS alerts" as well)
Please
register with us, use the "become a member button" it will take
one minute, by doing so we will be able to keep you up-to-date with current
affairs, news and events in Fairlands / Northcliff and Berario. Lets fight
crime as a team and clean up our area.
And
please pass this website address onto your friends and family in the area,
thanks
